Reviews & Discussion:

Here is a great record. The Jan Driver mix is the one to bang out.
Hard to pigeon hole this mix it has great energy and is a heavy tune.
Great use of Afrika Bambaataa`s vocal all the way through realy pulling the track through.
What stands out in my mind is the amasing bassline which drops in the break, fantasic use of panning is evident here and when dropped on a big system you will surely understand where i`m coming from.
This track has a certain techno feel to it with the hi-hat style which also lifts the track even higher if that were possible.
My advice is to get a copy of this and play it LOUD and enjoy it.
The B side is also quite a nice mix but not to much to my flavour.
DJ Q - We Are One EP Aug 24, 2009
Well after this tune being around a fair few years and being in many a record box hard to beleive still no decent reviews on this classic house track from days gone by.
This has to be one of my all time favourite tracks and will never die in my mind.
If anything this is the way Deep House should be made not like so many of the plod along nod your head deep house thats being bucketed out theese days.
As the scottish male vocal says `till the walls come crashing down we will maintain` and thoose who understand the `underground movement` which is now becoming the mainstream you will perfectly understand this record and how good it really is.
Unlike so many of the disco sampling house tracks from this era this one never tires your ears nor becomes repetative as if someone just laid the sample down with a 4/4 beat.
The filters are in all the right places and the depth of the synth work is fantastic as it pulls you into the braekdown and back out again, with the simplest yet most effective vocal sample making you think even more deeply.
If you don`t` own this record you should especially all the deep house listeners/dj`s of now.
Lets see more producers of late make instant classics like this.
I always have this tune in the box whenever I play out.The vocal mix on here is the best and is a great crossover from deep house to harder styles.
The main mix is led by a gorgeous guitar that drifts along over the deep beats gradually pulling you in to a trance before the break hits. The vibe is very emotional and the vocal used sits perfectly in the breakdown and is a must for any lover of house music.
On the flip there is the elements mix which is very usefull if you want to use a more driving beat for a slightly different vibe.
I also really like the DCL Project Remix which is a more tribal outing with deep drums and bass an incredible spanish drum is used in this mix which really has to be heard.
Later remixes don`t do the origional 12" any justice so this is the one to get your hands on.
I have to say this is a great remix by Paul Woolford. There are many mixes knocking around out there the main one that everyone is using on their mixes is the Trentemoller version. On this twelve though is the juggernaut in my opinion.Mr Woolford strips the tune down to its raw elements and makes great use of the bass. The tune slowly comes in until the break and then all hell is unleahsed when that fantastic bass riff suddenly changes and the vocal comes in over. This is a real piece of electro house magic not to be missed.I`m still banging this one out and always gets an incredible response.Great work Wooly!
Micky Slim - Jump Nov 15, 2008
This is a killer electro house house track.I heard Micky drop this track in Birmingham and never even realised it was a remix, just some dj trickery. After the second listen the track is really infectious and you can`t get enough!
The production is excellent and the sounds and stabs fit perfectly together.People will go crazy to this track when dropped at the right moment on a big system.
I would get a copy if you can, rumours of a major release seem to be unfounded over a year since its release.
Awesome tune.
This must be Johnick`s best piece of work for me.Very hard to find as I have searched the globe for copies of this.A beautiful jazzy house track which reminds me of being young and free again in such a crazy world. The unusual structure of the track always keeps the momentum pushing forward, and the flute solo just simply floats and will stick in your mind for years to come. This track will make you feel warm in the coldest of winters.A true classic in my book.
