Profile: DJ Since a few years back.
Started out with digital bedroom DJing using weird software with manually hacked plugins even before there were any software for mixing. Also played a bit on a few private parties for the fun of it.
Later joined the Skövde University DJs, SCUD (which came from the original name of Skövde City University DJs). SCUDs equipment was Denon DNF-2600, and so I adjusted to CDs. Since SCUD had their own collection of CDs those were used to please the different styles of music requested in the Skövde student union's night club. Spent three of the four years in total as head of SCUD and during the end of the last year, in cooperation with the successor, we converted the equipment over to Traktor DJ Studio with hardware controllers.
Since I've now moved away from Skövde I decided not to let go of playing music as a DJ completely, while still not chasing around full time for gigs. Therefore I decided to go for the most fun DJ-equipment to simply play around with; Vinyl.
Current equipment is Two Synq X.Trm.1s and a Korg Zero4.
Have bought a few proper sets of vinyl through the Discogs marketplace and a few nostalgia records through assorted swedish record stores. Also, I recently found a great DJ store in Stockholm from which I've started getting some records.
