Reload - Evolution - 01-Dec-06 06:02 AM
Ohh.. My..God.. This is your ultimate chance to buy this release instead of the way too expensive originals and even get a better sound since they were remastered. You can easily say they sound superior. Theres not much to say about the music, its top notch timeless classic material. Another very good point is that the records have their original artwork. Much respect to Reload and Clone!
Ulrich Schnauss - A Strangely Isolated Place - 23-Dec-03 01:10 PM
Just when i wanted to give up the electronic music with the thought that all the good music had already been produced, i found this album. This album is f*ing amazing. Absolutely the feel good album in the electronic music. Everytime when i hear this album im floating in the air with tremendous feelings of warmth, happiness and joy. The world isnt as bad as i thought! The first time when i heard the album i cried!! I warn the people who havent already listened to the album because the music works like a strong drug. Before you know you are a junk and addicted till you die!!!! All tracks are highlights, but i think that In All The Wrong Place and A Strangely Isolated Place are one of the best tracks ever produced in the world of electronic music. A true masterpiece and it will definitely become a classic. I gave it 5 points, but it deserves a lot more.
Biosphere - Patashnik - 05-May-03 10:41 AM
We had a dream last night..We had the same dream.. More spaced out ambient techno by Geir Jenssen. As good as Microgravity i think. Later on in the 90s he will make more abstract ambient music. Great (listen to Substrata, really, really good) but i prefer Patashnik and Microgravity. For me they are cornerstones of the great electronica building..
Biosphere - Microgravity - 05-May-03 10:40 AM
Can we make it back to earth? Its a decision of course.. its yours... High tech dance music by Geir Jenssen. One of the early ambient techno albums from the 90s Beautiful dark music with a lot of space samples. A year before Microgravity (AMBcd 3921), he released Northpole by Submarine as Bleep (SSR). Do you hear the difference? :) Follow up release on Apollo is Selected Ambient Works 85-92 by Aphex Twin (AMBcd 3922) Be aware of the classics! Essential for collectors of classic material.
Jedi Knights - New School Science - 05-May-03 10:38 AM
We are the knights who say NI!! A rare Global Communication album under the alias Jedi Knights. Deleted because Tom and Mark used (nicked) the Jedi Knight name, invented by George Lucas (Star Wars) and they were not permitted to do so.. Tongue in Cheek neo-electro with a Global Communication touch.. I have searched this album for years and finally bought it at Ebay. Some tracks are re-released on the Jedi Selector, released several years later.
