Profile: Been DJing for four years, just started playing mates parties mainly into my Breaks (Meat Katie, Koma & Bones, Freq Nasty etc), Techno (Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Speedy j yaddayaddayadda), weirdness (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Boards Of Canada, betty Boo....) and a bit of Drum n Bass (Andy C, DJ Hype, DJ Krust...).

Also listen to Hip Hop, bit of Gothy stuff (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, Nick Cave), and pretty much anything else.

Having said that don't tolerate Trance, UK Garage and Hard House - not my thing.....

FC/Kahuna* - Hayling Remixes - 19-Mar-03 04:32 PM
Not too keen on this, thought the ILs tune could have been WAY better then the frankly bland Drun 'N' Bass crap they managed to churn out, and the Chicken Lips mix seemed to be trying to hard to be attracting the House and Electro crowd, odd, but I'll still end up playing it......

Propellerheads - Take California And Party - 03-Jul-02 08:08 AM
The original is a fantastic Big/breakbeat classic (if there can be such a thing). This however takes it that little bit further, the good old JB's get down in their own stylee, laying down lyrics that seem to follow the tune pretty well, the beats are bigger and the bass is Phatter, all in all a track well worth having.

Plastikman - Consumed - 28-Jun-02 08:15 AM
If you like your Techno Minimal, this is the puppy you have been looking for, for a while....

On the whole the beats and rythms are just about there, getting more twisted and strange as the album progresses. Never really sure if the sounds that you are hearing are actually related to the CD thats playing, ahhhhhhhhh minimal is the way....

Super fly, funny band. Saw them a few weeks ago in London, and half the crowd disappeared in the first 20 minutes. I however loved it, funny as fuck lyrics, sounds to scare and amuse all at the same time. If you ever get the chance see them, the album is wicked but its a whole nother thang to witness their Manc form of music live. Dutch Bardge Dog. Dutch. Dog. Bardge. Dog.

Plump DJs - Elastic Breaks - 28-Jun-02 03:44 AM
This is one Hell of a mix album. tough breaks and pounding beats, mixed up to f**k by the Plumps. Loads of quality remixes of nu school. As good as any breaks album I ever heard, smashing..
