The B-Side of this release was mistakenly credited to Tony Humphries but its in fact Steve Anderson who is behind these 3 delicious remixes of "Open Your Heart".
Steve fans will easily recognize the piano line he used on almost all his DMC releases especially listening at the end of the Extended Remix.

Steve Anderson remixed only few titles besides of DMC, so thats a pity Atlantic forgot him on the credits of the US release.
The only correct credits can be found on the UK Atlantic 12" Promo (discogs release # 928616)

The main interest of this double pack is definitively the Morales Classic 12" UK Edit Mix which lasts more than 8 minutes and was not released on the official 12".
The track is similar to the Morales Classic 12" Mix but the intro is better for mix, and pianos played by Terry Burrus & Peter Daou stay at the first rank all over the track.
Two tracks more are also exclusively available on the promo : The Morales Club Eclipse Mix which is a dub, and the Dans Disco Dub with a nice musicappella intro.
Juliets voice is as always splendid.

If you like Garage you should really consider buying this precious double 12". Besides featuring the cream of the Garage remixers, this package includes not less than 3 unreleased mixes like the Classic 12" w/o Rap, probably the best of the Knuckles & Morales tracks.
The Def and Dub Mixes are teinted of deep house synths like those of the famous Red Zone serie.
CJ Mackintosh signs also here, one of his most achieved remix with 10 minutes of melodious garage starting with a classic long intro then in the last 4 minutes an acappella bridge, moving to a musicappella (CJs speciality) finally ended by the Janets voice loop feels good...feels good... feels soooo good.
Oh yes... Its a so good remix !
The CJs dubs are also really hyptonic with keyboards played by Nigel Lowis and Mick Talbot, especially on the Vinyl One Dub and his hip-housy sounds. Dont forget that Chris Mackintosh built his reputation by mixing Hip Hop releases in the 90s with Dave Dorrell.
Anyway, this double pack promo is a gem of the Luthers and Janets discographies. Dont miss it !

This hard to find double pack promo includes the Silky 70s Dub not released on the official US 12" and which is one of the best track of the release.
Steve Hurley, Eric Miller and Maurice Joshua give here their best for Kyms third single.
E-Smooves Late Nite Mix stays the most famous track with his langourous rhodes intro and deep piano layer, when the Hurleys Extended sound more funky with distorted synth brass and repeated short strings attacks (two elements of the famous Hurleys touch).
Take my advice... buy it if you find it !

Probably one of the best Morales remix ever, with an incredible introduction on the 12" Soakin Wet Mix.
This double pack presents two Morales/Peter Ski Schwartz dubs not released on the official 12.
Its a must to have for Morales Classic Garage lovers.
