Adolf Hitler - Einigkeit Und Recht Und Freiheit (Hitler's Antwort An Den Präsidenten Roosevelt) Teil 3 + 4 - 20-Sep-09 02:32 PM
It is too easy to dismiss this release as right-wing propaganda or sick nostalgia whatever the publisher's motives are.
Although the cover design and the liner-notes makes one draw his own conclusions.
Clearly, these are historical recordings and in these days something like a Molotov-pact or another form of appeasement/entente between the USA & UK and Nazi Germany was well possible within the political reality of the day.
Listening to Hitler's voice, it is easy & eerie to observe the technique he used to captivate his audience.
Well learned from his media-consultants Rudolf Hess and Erik-Jan Hanussen (the clairvoyant/hypnosis expert) in the late 1920's, early 1930's.
(Although Hanussen claimed to be a Danish aristocrat he was in fact a Czech Jew, born as Hermann Steinschneider !)

Willem De Ridder With Elsa Del Puerto - In De Ruimte 1 & 2 - 24-Aug-09 09:05 AM
One of the most thrilling adventures of Prince Wilhelmus, Missolini and their friend, the ferryman Wouter with his magical knife.
Mysteriously they end up far out in the Universe on a planet where all thoughts become reality, knowing what people can think about..., you can imagine a lot of problems arising and decisive measures must be made... !
For countless children and many adults too, these weekly broadcasts were rare treats, yours truly included...
The charismatic unique voice of Willem, his masterful storytelling straight from his head, not out of a book or script remains unique.
They outclass all radioplays, up to the present "Bommel" radioplays, heavily backed by the cultural Public Radio Maffia which are so obviously and boringly read out from a script without any atmosphere.., shame on them !

Willem De Ridder With Elsa Del Puerto - De Eerste En De Tweede - 23-Aug-09 03:33 PM
Prince Wilhelmus heads out into the forest, for the first time without his regiment of soldiers, just with his friend Missolini. He makes friends with Jan and Piet, the crows. Then he falls into a deep pit where a farting Stalin (!) awaits him, forcing him into slavery. Stalin finally starts getting hungrier and angrier and really does not like crying children or an irritating Missolini!
And what will happen if Prince Wilhelmus is not back in the castle at 6 o'clock?
Willem on the rampage, beautiful background music and noises.
Unforgettable.

Zepplin & Narouz - Chocolate Dreams, Isis, Solaris - 17-Aug-09 05:33 AM
Happy to find and recognise the Solaris track as a GEM on this whitey in the great stack of whites which should stay or go. Trip as in Hop.
The other tracks are not really outstanding, only the Tom Hanks sample in Chocolate Dreams (Forrest Gump) is worth mentioning as to have made an impression and one can guess these guys must have listened and liked Carl Craigs BFC/Evolution and some Indian classical stuff. (For Whom The Bell Tolls)

Maarten van der Vleuten - High Intolerance Towards Low Energies - 28-Nov-08 11:00 AM
As an individual can be familiar with the atmosphere clinging on to a Catholic girlschool, its shepherd-like nuns,Sunday mass, chorals. The hundreds of girls who come and go there through passing years. It's nice and well-kept gardens with mysterious footpaths.(Monique, c'est moi, tu est la?) Big green hedges, one can see this as a once very powerful function, this atmosphere...
Seclusion, safety, prayers, learning, invocations.
Indeed a High Intolerance Towards Low Energies as perceived
A building like this was the inspiration for this record, now demolished, it was there.
Definitely an ambient excercise as well as an audio/memory document and some silent questions about what is coming over and towards us and what we have left behind.
Becoming when played ambiently, it was this time, not too loud, turn low down.
(Next track: Psychedelic Furs, Sister Europe)
