Woody McBride - Paragraph One - 09-Feb-07 02:25 PM
I have a version of this 12" but it says that 1 of the 3 tracks is " W/Woody Mcbride Remix" but which i dont know maybe the B2 track this is a hard funked groove stuffed with acid! Its very good.
Various - Dunne - 08-Feb-07 12:32 PM
This bootie is one my favourites from all of my records. Full Stop. I know its unofficial as booties go, but if you want these records individually, well good luck!. The track espiral by dunne is a piece of perfect music. Very emotional track thats got lots more every time. The 2 other tracks are no less stunning if maybe more stunning, wicked samples on the go, old skool raw " the incredible, 5 , 0 said freeze" crunched into some wicked drums and things. Really Good.
Second-Hand Satellites - Multiple Mirrors (Part 2) - 21-Dec-06 07:10 AM
Excellent release with 4 different mixes / tracks all with a trippy drugged up sound, pick of them all IMO is A2 Blakkat orbit, worth it for this alone. It skips along in a very hypnotic fashion, sounds of bubbles everywhere, very light and dreamy but always a serious groove, nice breakbeat affair at 130bpm.
Various - A & S Vol 1 - 27-Nov-06 09:53 AM
Limited to 901 copies! Why 901? But if you get chance to get 1 of the 901 do so as you will be more than happy with the tracks compiled on it. The track by FSOL Papau New Guinea wasnt officially released at the time this bootleg hit the streets so it got snapped up instantly at many record shops in the North West of England.
Various - A & S Vol 2 - 27-Nov-06 07:00 AM
Unoffical release! Dont let that stop you from grabbing this 12" if you ever come across it. Its overflowing with goodness due to the 4 tracks compiled on it. What you have here is an accurate reflection of what tunes were causing a vibe back in the old skool days of 1990/1992. These were highly sought after individual releases that had for one reason or other only been pressed in limited numbers. The sounds of the early rave seen and the quite unique sound of that time too. They were tracks that were big club hits on the rave circuit. ie. Young MC with the catchy us hip hop track Knoiw How which due to the likes of DJ Welly and similar UK DJs, using it to create live on the fly mash ups in there DJ sets. Welly did an excellent mash up of this track over Frank de wulfs The Tape (remixed) from B Sides vol 2 on music man. Awesome mash up. At the Same time increasing demand for the young mc track.
