Andrés - II - 07-Jul-09 01:48 PM
I just cannot stop listening to this LP, it is so fantastic.

With strong elements of soul, broken beat, hip hop and house this truly is the real deal. I do not have much knowledge of Andres or any of his other releases but going by this LP the man is an outstanding artist. I come across this through the Moodymann stuff and I am so glad to have done so.

Get this while you can because from my understanding the Mahogani label only press so many and this is not a record you want missing from your collection.

Breathtaking.

Utah Jazz - It's A Jazz Thing - 31-May-09 02:50 PM
This has to be one of my favourite drum and bass albums of all time. When I purchased this album I had no idea about Utah Jazz. The album was recommended in a magazine and I know Liquid V is a solid label so thought Id give it a go, I have no regrets.

If you are a fan of Liquid drum and bass this is a must have. I would also recommend it to fans of soul, house and jazz.

Each track has a nice melody or catchy sample and they blend together to become a piece of musical artwork. My favourite track of the album is "Mesmerize" with its catchy piano keys and jazzy melody. This is great summertime listening and an example of Liquid drum and bass at its finest, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Edmund Seager Project, The - Pick It Up - 05-Nov-07 03:32 PM
Im suprised to see such a low rating for this record. Reason being the Garage mix of Pick It Up is excellent with a real original, shall I say Victor Simonelli garage sound. There is a very nice guitar riff which runs throughout the tune and this really works well, a nice production. The full out mix is very dissapointing with a more commercial orientated feel, which really didt do anything for me. However the garage mix is good enough to justify this record, its 100% worth grabbing for any classic garage house fans.

Kerri Chandler - The 4th Thing For Linda EP - 29-May-06 06:09 AM
Kerri shows off his class again with this EP. The track of the EP for me has to be All The Downloads. This is just pure quality deep house, like back when it all first started. It is very chilled out with a nice little oldskool sounding bassline most the way through. Then towards the end some chords are thrown in and they just work a treat. Another piece of class from a pure legend.

Bob Sinclar - World, Hold On (Remixes) - 27-May-06 05:51 AM
This is a quality production by bob sinclar (as usual) and axwell has remixed it superbly. The use of the rock guitar is very good and works well. The track produces a lot of energy for me and the lyrics are just sheer quality. One of them tunes you will be singing and dancing to all day, going to be a big tune.
