Profile: hard to describe my musical profile in a few words.
My musical interest startet with making music with my father when i was 3 years old (got some funny old tapes). But my father was much into Jazz and Classical...so when i grew up i checked the record collection of my mother and found some Soul and Rock records wich sounded cool to me. My first records were gifts from my family....OK... but not the real kick!
My first record collectors arousal came when "Rappers Delight" came to Germany. I went to my father and pressed him to buy this single......after he brought it home we danced to it .....it was so funny to see my father dance...wahooo!
The following years i was more into making music (Piano/Drums/Bass) in an amateur Highschool Band.
Sometimes i bought some rap records and some Jazz records(i loved Billy Cobham for his drumming in my teen age).......but then ACID HOUSE came to Hamburg! A girlfriend went in the clubs every week and took me with her...and thats when i started with electronic music!

well now i still love and buy Rap,Electronic Music,Soul,Jazz, Afro and some Rock and Folk records...but my love for House especially rough soulful Deep House grows stronger and stronger....so maybe there will be some information exchange or maybe some good records through DISCOGS sales... I would appreciate to swap some of my doubles with some other musiclovers or collectors...just contact me!

It may be a shame that so many songs are used for re-edits without giving credit to the originators.
But comparing to the fact that they would drown in music history and be fogotten without the use by younger DJs, it is good to have the longer Dj-friendly booty versions.
This one is nearly double playtime of the original and thats nice for the DJs.
Some now may use tis versions in their "house set".
Others will work out hypnotic Disco sets with these re-edits...
Anyway it will touch new and younger audience...
And they may buy the Black Ivory CD releases cause of this.

Its just a phrase in the song lyrics.
