I will accept messages regarding items in my want list but only if it's M or NM. I make very few exceptions so if you have a EX item, it better be SUPER rare. Its condition must also adhere to proper grading guidelines. Please use the Discogs link below as a proper guide.
Goldmine Grading System
So - if your record has been played a lot (but is in OK shape) or is, for all outward appearances "used", I'm not interested. I also expect the price to reflect its condition accordingly. If the record is VG+, it's worth half of NM.

Jonny L And Paul Vibe - Juicy - 11-Mar-08 11:37 AM
This is a rather odd release for Piranha Records. All of Jonny L's releases there were solely drum n' bass except for this one. 'Juicy' was released at a time when he was dipping into the 'True Steppers' garage productions and I imagine that his own imprint was the quickest and best place to let this out in the world. While some dispute that this is an unofficial white label, Jonny cites this as a Piranha promo. This was indicated for some time on his web site, and should his new site be resurrected with a discography, it'll likely re-appear in the list as it was before.
This is actually a pretty cool release. It's got his signature bass lines rolling through the track. The song is probably the slowest of his I've ever heard. All in all it's pretty unique record. I'd actually recommend it!
Pink Floyd - Relics - 16-May-06 01:34 AM
I just want to add that while this CD is highly sought after as a collectible, the mastering on this particular mini LP is, in a word, atrocious. Songs cut off early (though by a sliver, but that's enough) or have track changes occur just before or just after it was meant to, and only a marginal attempt was made to reduce tape hiss from the source. While later Floyd mini LPs demonstrate exceptional digital remastering work, this has about the same audio professionalism of, say, making a mix tape for your first crush when you were 11 years old. My rating for this release doesn't reflect the music, but rather the job on the part of the engineers here and whoever signed off on the work (if they even listened to it).
Cure, The - Join The Dots: B-Sides & Rarities 1978>2001 The Fiction Years - 03-Apr-06 05:50 PM
I always felt that when 'Standing On A Beach - The Singles' was released, the cassette version blew the other available formats out of the water. Side two of that tape complemented all those hits with dark and experimental b-sides. If you were new to The Cure and picked up what you thought was a 'Best Of' of sorts, you got an inside look at why they earned their cult status. Not only did you get a pile of hit tunes but you got access to all those rare singles that serious fans were always after. The CD and LP versions just never delivered the same back story.
When this box set was released, it was as if we could finally add that side two cassette to our CD collections (which was my original motivation for this purchase). Leafing through the book and listening to the development of The Cure's 'throw away' tracks, which they are not, confirms what I felt when I first heard that original cassette. You have your 'MTV' Cure, which delivers smash hits over and over again for the masses (which, let's admit it, is okay), and you have your 'fan dedicated, personal' Cure, which writes all those instrumentals and quirky songs that serious fans can hang onto and call their own. This box set demonstrates that fan dedicated, personal side beautifully and in a very complete way.
If you really only bought their full length albums and the odd single here and there, this box set cracks open that other side. You'll be quite amazed at what you will find.
Sharam - Keep On Moving (Mixes) - 24-Feb-05 07:44 AM
The 'Real Mix' appears as 'Keep On Move It' on Westbam's 'Ich Bin Ein Bassliner' JDJ mix CD. It's known as a Euro House track but it's much more than that. It's got a Moroder+techno vibe to it that keeps it really strong. A rock solid release even to this day.
Leftfield - Rhythm And Stealth - 09-Feb-05 12:36 AM
Unlike the CD, this release has the distinct advantage of having all tracks unmixed. "Dub Gussett", "Swords", and "6/8 War" are all *slightly* longer since they contain the proper intro and outro. The 2x12" version of this release still mixes "6/8 War" into "Rino's Prayer".
