Profile: Feel free to e-mail me questions re: my collection...nothing is for sale. As you can tell by my collection I'm all over the map style wise.
I don't trade mp3's, upload them, or burn discs, so don't bother asking.
My ratings are for the disc as a whole.
I DO NOT want to buy your copy of anything in my want list unless you are within the United States or Canada...then we can talk. If you are not within the U.S. or Canada, DO NOT send e-mail to me regarding your copy for sale, failure to heed this warning may get you put in my spammers list and block you from future contact with me...Thank you.

Joy Electric - Unelectric - 18-Nov-03 09:57 AM
The name of this disc is a bit misleading...most of the parts that are played on synths on earlier releases are played on non-digital instruments here (piano, strings, etc). The thing that was disappointing about this disc to me was the use of drum machines/synths/sequencers to produce the percussion tracks, I was hoping for a completely "UNELECTRIC" experience.
Prodigal Sons - 16-Oct-03 08:33 AM
If you are a fan of Altern-8s Full On...Mask Hysteria, then you should be able to get into most anything this group has released. Their first two albums (Texno Theology and Return) have a deep acid-like sound with lots of 303 ("303 Wiseman" from Return is a great example), 808, and 909 sounds and hard hitting beats. Their third album Fast & a...(live) is quite a bit more on the downtempo/ambient side. Their fourth album picks right back up where Return left off and provides that more Altern-8 feel once again.
