Hugg & Pepp - Stacy Stiff - 01-Jan-06 11:04 AM
Jesper & John Dahlback are without a doubt among the most talked about and highly regarded artists of the moment. They have managed to effortlessly blend current Techno and House elements to create productions that may very well be some off the best work to come out of Sweden. This sound which is proving very effective on labels such as their own Dahlback & Dahlback imprint, Resopal, Craft, Blank, Weave, Systematic, and the list goes on. This particular release brought on by acclaimed P company ELP Medien titled "Stacy Stiff" offers two tracks of pure dancefloor energy. The first cut leads off with some insane acid-laden basslines followed by what John can only pull off. The flip takes you back to the old school with an insane acid line that leads you throughout the entire track, lay over some dirty bass riffs, you got yourself a classic. Watch out for these guys, they have been tearing it up for quite some time now. With John being only twenty years old, we will see a lot more coming from these two future pioneers.

Samuel L Session* - Vintage Season - 30-Dec-05 10:10 PM
Many of us have been wondering when Samuel would put out a stright up slammer. Well this release is a pure example of how the Swedes can excel in Techno production. "Vintage Season" is the third release as part of his New Soil imprint. He focuses more on forward thinking Techno. "Get Me Down" on the A side features some relentless throbbing basslines with the signature Samuel funky touch, perfect for burning up the dancefloors. On the flip, "Support Machine" wanders off into the realms of dark and hypnotic structures that only Samuel can pull off. I highly recommend this release strictly for the dancefloors.

Mystic Letter K - Prophecies - 27-Jul-05 12:00 AM
Cari Lekebusch has done it again! This particular release is definitely forward thinking electronic music, and yet places him at the next level of accomplishments and setting forth an established sound. Under his moniker "Mystic Letter K" , he provides the listener with B-boy influenced breakbeat electro elements. No four four tracks here guys. This goes well with any electro breakbeat set. Cari maximizes the use of his signature sound with dark and gritty elements, properly compressed structures and amazing usage of the vocoder. If its anyone in this Industry that knows how to use the vocoder, itll have to be Cari. I recommend this album to anyone that collects his music and that is looking for something exciting to play. HUGE RELEASE!

Paul Mac - Vol. 10 - 25-Jul-05 07:43 PM
Paul Mac has done it yet again with his next installment of his C-Side series. The a-side features a great sample taken from Charles Manson; and then it works into dark shuffling percussions and deep rolling basslines. He tops it off by adding in some eerie atmospheric backgrounds thatll carry you through the entire track. On the flip, b1 gives you more deep dirty rolling basslines. The inside is just a flat out tribal dancefloor slammer with some old school elements inside.

Mark Williams - Nights Of Pleasure EP - 08-Jan-05 05:27 AM
Great release! Mark Williams has done it again, however this one is more from the norm with a more minimal dark tribal approach as opposed to the more heavier elements in his prior releases. This will stay in my box.
