1979 Foundation For The Black Arts, The Presents Summer's Lease - Untitled - 09-Nov-08 02:33 PM
I dont know anything about this series (seems to be related to slow to speak tough). But this record is not more or less than a bootleg of the tune "Endless" from the "Changeless" lp by Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock & Jack Dejohnette. It was recorded live in 1987 and came out two years later on ecm. The piece is very mellow and quite beautiful, maybe just a little to sweet sometimes to get into..

Various - Metalheadz Presents Platinum Breakz - 20-Aug-05 04:05 AM
My first piece of vinyl and still one of my favourites. For me breakbeats never sounded better than here. The sound of these tunes is very mature, with some special feeling attached. They have something a miss a lot in newer jungle/drum records..

DJ Kane - Animal Instinct EP - 12-Mar-04 01:25 PM
classic cut from dj kane! check the cool video, which documents the way of the record, from making the tune, the dub plate pressing plant to the club...

Abstrak / Silicon - V995 - 09-Aug-03 09:06 AM
this really is one my favourite techno records! there are 3 tracks on it (+1 locked groove). the 2 on the a-side are o.k., well done acid techno. but it´s the track on the flip, that catches my attention. it´s so good! it sounds like the best record, robert hood never made (i really appreciate his work!).
the sounds come from everywhere - pure rhythm. and if you like to know that, it got plenty of funk and soul.

this is one for those who know - or probably better: for those who feel it!
