Profile: For whoever is curious about any of my records in my collection, don't hesitate to ask about something. Maybe I might be willing to trade for something I want from your collection if possible. I'm usually a pretty understanding guy, but no 5/5 record trades from my collection at all unless if you have something from my wantlist that you're willing to trade for, then I might be willing to trade for something out of my 5/5 records stash, most importantly just send me a message and we'll see what we can work out. Also, regarding record grading, I grade records according to how many "good" tracks there are on a single EP. A record that has 1 good track of a 5/5 status but the other tracks on that record are less than or a 4/5, then the record overall is a 4/5 for my final grade. A record that has at least 2 tracks that are 5/5 worthy then that record will have a final grade of 5/5. If it's an LP it will depend on how many "5/5" tracks there are in total and depending on how many records come with the release, 2LP, 3LP etc... I will give the LP its final grade using the single EP implications. No ebay offers/links, I fucking hate bidding unless if you have a buy it now option.

AIR - Deck Safari (Part 1) - 25-Sep-07 06:15 AM
Air showcases their influences in music at their upmost finest with both parts of their Decks Safari mixes. Talk about covering a wide spectrum. They play tracks from the Beastie Boys to Harry Nilsson to Beck to Prince to The Cure I mean it just goes on and on with rarities (good rarities) and just plain great music that you can play at work, at home or wherever. Both mixes gives the listener a glimpse as to how Air's unique sound was influenced by.
Some funny trivia about these two mixes are that when they were originally aired on Pete Tong's Essential Mix, Pete Tong explained as to how and why air made two talks about how there was a breakdown in the communication between the producers of Tong's show and Air, and that BBC told Air that the Essential Mix was a two hour show and Air thought that they ment BBC wanted two parts or two mixes back to back which ultimately led to become parts 1 and 2 on the Decks Safari mixes.
David Alvarado - The Sun Kiss E.P. - 26-Jul-07 10:26 AM
David Alvarado is one of my favorite artists because of his ability to create such beautiful deep, dark, techy house music that seems timeless and this record is no exception. I first heard the track Passion Fruit On Deep Dish's Essential Mix back in 98 (When DD was good believe it or not) and I remember my jaw dropped when I first heard that track. It was unlike anything I heard at the time. It's dark, very trippy, and groovy in which I can safely say that it's the standout track of the record imo. The other three tracks are also very good but just falls short of the Passion Fruit which wins the gold medal in my book.
Mike Shannon - Sublet EP - 05-Jun-07 08:31 AM
Arguably Mike Shannon's best record to date imo. Quite funny on how I found out about this record was when I heard an S-Max mix and the first track he dropped was the track "Johny" and thought at first that this must have been an upcoming unreleased S-Max track, which pretty much sums on how diverse and talented Mr. Shannon is. All four tracks are amazing but it's the "Johny" track which is extra special imo. It's dark and chuggy and wonky perfectly blended together that is just so luring and it draws you in. The other tracks are very good too, you can literally play every single track on this record and not have that feeling of "I can't play more than one track of anything" "feeling" as most dj's think because it's just that good.
S-Max vs. Paradroid - Chocolate Poodle EP - 13-Oct-06 12:49 AM
MY OH MY! What a glorious record this one is. Just the two names alone, S-Max and Paradroid, should indicate the magnitude of steller collaboration at its finest in which this record falls nothing short of. The two S-Max tracks are uniquely different but yet amazing, one of the S-Max tracks has an almost "old school" sound which anyone can instally recognize as soon as one first hears it. The Other S-Max track has more of a deeper, bleepier, and wonkier type of sound which is also amazing. The Paradroid track, Wow! His track immediately hits you hard with his hard, chunky bassline, and cerebral whacky crazy sounds that only Paradroid can deliver, shit, it's his trademark signature. And finally the S-Max and Paradroid track collaboration. The only collaboration from them known to date. I hate to sound repetitive and say words like outstanding and amazing a million times over but the track really is that good, just like the other three. Well I'll leave it at that, and give it my final of grade of, A++.
Superlauncher - Hyper Nurbs EP - 04-Sep-06 08:05 AM
IMO the best Over X record to date with the Chocolate Poodle being at a close 2nd place. Gritty, hard, sci-fi, cerebral, mental electro for anyone's electro fancy. My 2 favorite tracks are on the flipside, and need I say more on how fantastic those two tracks are. Overall this record deliveres well with all the avenues of a great electro record that anybody can grasp and find personal particular reasons to love, if you're an electro dj, you won't leave home without it.
