Felipe Venegas - 07-Aug-08 10:04 AM
First time, i heard his minimal sound, i did not think that i complete falling in love with his tracks! but after listening all tracks i falling! i must say that every ep from him are absolutly my favourite, the nomucho releases are for free! the nomucho 006 and the nomucho 008 are highly recommended! i love all tracks from him! his perfect minimal sound, clinks in my ear: new, hot, and smooth together! i hope he get some big major deal in future! and i hear some more perfect minimal sound like this!
Gregor Tresher - Break New Soil - 12-Jun-08 02:01 PM
Wow Wow Wow thats the right words when i will talk about the break new soil ep! Gregor Tresher comes on moon harbour so fucking minimal, that i have some problems to differ about him or matthias tanzmann, i never heard him so minimal before! After the minute two the disco must burn down, When this track is playing! for me some highlight of the young year 2008, the daniel stefanik mix is for me fully dispensable! His mix steal the power of the cool bassline and the nice kick! sorry daniel ^^
Martin Eyerer & Oliver Klein - Kairo - 02-Jun-07 01:04 AM
Al Quadus has been a good choice for the A side. The track is a totally dark tech-house bomb with peak time charakter, including five minutes of ringing bells. It kind of reminds me of the cowbells I used to hear at my grandmas farm when I was little, as well as of Brutalga Square by dj koze. The B side isnt quite as dark, though I dont care for it as much anyways. It doesnt have much to it, except for the kicking base. The A side is a clear winner here.
Villalobos* - Fizheuer Zieheuer - 01-Jun-07 08:52 AM
The one thing that comes to my mind is - whats the puropse of a 40 minute vinyl? I guess flirting with the ladies standing next to the DJ, or to taking a leak. Ricardo Villalobos way of making music fascinates me every time I hear one of his tracks. When Alcachofa first came out, I was excited as a little boy on Christmas Eve, and headed to the local record shop right away. "Achso" & "Whats Wrong My Friends?" is also part of my collection, but with Fizheuer Zieheuer, Im not quite sure what made me buy his record. Its basically a waste of money. I really want to keep the crowd entertaind by presenting different styles of music, instead of boring them with a 22 minute track. If I had to pick one, Id go for Pt. 1, as in my oppinion, he hasnt totally lost focus there.
Cabo San Roque vs. Luciano - Membrillo EP - 23-May-07 02:22 PM
To me, the Luciano remix is still one of the best tracks of all. With Calypso 08, you get this chill-out feeling, even in the darkest club. It almost makes you feel like sitting in an old fishermans pub down by the harbour. Cabo San Roque couldnt have found any better remixer than Luciano, to mix their music with current deep house beats. A track that gets you dreaming.
