Cheers, Carl... I stand corrected! For some reason I remembered this differently, I've since dug out the W/L & the Blue Basique 12" that you guys gave me... It was hazy times back then!

Sometime in the early-mid 90’s we took Damon Wild (Synewave, NY) to catch Mr C playing at “Heart & Soul”, the club run by Jeremy Jones, a purely underground party based in London’s East End!
Damon was blown away by the music and the vibe at this party, and the all-day after party that he attended (and ended up missing his flight back to NY as a result!), the track that seemed to do the damage for him was the final tune of the evening ‘Mute Hate’, a bent-up analogue track that mutated in both tempo and style halfway in, it left Damon hungry for more… At this period of the scene in London you were as likely to hear early Carl Craig trax played alongside Strictly Rhythm or Joey Beltram cuts, because the crowd seemed more responsive to good music than to plain old hype! This was the dance floor that inspired early Plink Plonk releases – the label that ‘And On’ (PLK 015) was first released – and this exceptional LP, and was later to find itself the sound of Sub Terrain at The End (the club which Mr C is co-founder & co-owner of). An underrated if not misunderstood LP that I would recommend to anyone who loves listening to Carl Craig, Spacetime Continuum or real analogues doing their thing! I cannot stress how good this twisted, drug inspired CD is!

A colaboration between Jerry (the man behind the legendary club, 'Heart & Soul'. The club that spawned the early London Tech House scene!) and Mr C.
This project was the precursor to the sublime Animus Amor LP.
