Reviews & Discussion:

Ethereal harmonies and vocals with a mostly electronic background. Interesting compositions, but the synth sounds get a little in the way of their songwriting strengths.Recommended for lovers of ethereal bands. Pleasant ethereal music with perhaps a little too much synth noodling, but still this band shouldn't be dismissed if you like ethereal music. 'Still Life' is a US compilation of (mostly) previously published material, and it contains the tracks from the previous UK 'Get Religion' Mini-LP.
Here you can find a lot of famous speed garage tracks in the original versions: Roy Davis Jr's 'Gabriel' or Rosie Gines' 'Closer Than Close' in the Tuff Jam mix. The first two cds are unmixed, while the third is mixed but it's a bit 'mechanical'. So it's an ok box to start exploring the Speed Garage / UK Garage scene: it's ok, but sure it's not great. After all, there are a lot of better compilation on the market.
