Taron-Trekka - Artys Iisii EP - 17-Nov-09 11:41 AM
This EP is intense! "Shiroi" is a monster track with a dark male vocal. A little challenging to mix from the beginning without a standard 4 on the floor kick. I caught wind of this track on the new Absurd Podcast from Dave DK which is not yet released. Dave somehow was able to mix in this track flawlessly! B2 is a solid composition as well. Definitely worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and buy the vinyl. This is a keeper!
Duplex 100 - +1 - 03-Nov-09 10:43 AM
+1 is a massive tech-house floor shaker. This track has a solid groove and thick bass line. Vocalist Yuanist Woods comes with some super ignorant vocals, but nothing cheesey. His lyrics take you on a journey through a night out at the club from his own perspective. Eddie Richards caned this track at Absurd (Los Angeles) back in February of 2009. The entire party was jumping. This track has a timeless feel. Am surprised not that many people have this in their wishlist. Buy a copy before everyone realizes what they slipped on.
Marc Romboy - The Awakening - 08-Aug-08 10:03 PM
This release by Romboy is simply disgusting. Definitely a peak hour track that will kick up the intensity in the club or warehouse. Overall, its a farily straight forward track, with a pumping kick and other grimey elements that give the track a very dirty and dark feeling. The Omar S. mix is not really my cup of tea, but Im sure Omar S. fans would dig it. Definitely worth every penny. Buy two if you can.
Susan Clark - Deeper (Deeper Than Deep Mix) - 26-Jul-08 03:51 PM
This slab is an essential must have for Benji Candelario x Wayne Rollins collectors. Definitely in the realm of "deep, dark and dirty"; this track meets all three criteria without a doubt. Strong synth stabs, haunting vocals and a chunky, rolling bassline will send crowds into a frenzy. By far an under rated piece of work. The Kaoz mixes released on 111 East are strong as well though I definitely prefer this mix.
Good luck trying to find this one.
Men Without Cause - To Life - 01-Jun-08 12:35 PM
Yes, another haunting male vocal at work here. "Your Love Has Got Me Goin" - the true (and only) gem on this record (A3). Nelson makes great use of the tracks parts. Once again coming with that deep, dark and dirty sound. This track will get any club or warehouse going at peak time. Am surprised not one person has this in their want list. Cmon people! Dont sleep on this! 18 years later and this track is still fresh as can be!
