Profile: into electro, funk, tech, roots etc. with a weak spot for moody electro and detroit tech. picking up the cbs-sound a few years back opened my ears to alot of other stuff i didn't know i loved. never thought i would be buying records older than myself but neverever say nevernever etc..
mp3's are cool for exchanging demos, mixes, unreleased tracks & the like, but not otherwise
so don't bother asking for an mp3 rip..
BUYING MY RECORDS: I love my records and will not part with most of them. however, if you like something in my collection, make me a reasonable offer, and you might be lucky that i either have a spare copy, or that the record in question never really caught on with me.
SELLING ME RECORDS: my wantlist is mainly a reminder to myself, but feel free to contact me if you like..
the exception to the above: it pisses me off when people charge high prices for stuff still available in the shops.. so if that's thee case don't bother asking

Delsin - 02-Sep-04 08:05 AM
Label with releases of very high quality in a broad spectrum of genres ranging from detroit techno and electro to Basic Channel-like chord dub and more experimental jazzy stuff. Personal faves are the deeeep New World Aquarium and the Drexciya-like releases from Dynarec. I cant remember having listened to anything from Delsin that wasnt woth buying and that says a lot for a label approaching its 50th release.
Örtz - 04-Jun-04 03:02 AM
Even though theyre mainly known for the Brother Brown remix of "We Dont Talk", the danish duo Ørtz is another classic "male programming meets female vocals"-constellation in the vein of portishead, lamb etc. albeit not as uniquie as these. Their sound is moody and light in the same instance, which somehow makes the listening experience slightly problematic, with a few brilliant exceptions.
Elecktroids - Elektroworld - 15-Mar-04 07:47 AM
Excellent release more branched towards japanese telecom and der zyklus, but not as minimal and edged as dopplereffekt. Moody in some places and very very funky in others. Definately worth getting.
Btw: The drexciya bonus track is "Triangular Hydrogen Strain" (trk 15 on the nept lair cd) and not "Oxyplasmic Gyration Beam" (trk 16). The mess up is due to the fact that the nept lair cd cover doesnt count the intro as a track in itself, and hence trk 1 listed on the cover is visible as trk 2 on the cd display etc...
Deepfried Toguma - The Hi-Fi Companion - 18-Feb-04 09:50 AM
The flamenco singer "El Dub" is not morroccan though, but has the real name Gustav C. R. Henningsen and is about as danish as it gets. Apart from this, I agree with the above and cant recommend this release enough. Some of the tracks where later used as soundtrack for the dark mooded television series "De Udvalgte" (The Chosen Ones).
Rofo - You've Got To Move It On - 21-Oct-03 04:59 PM
This track is definately killer... everything the whole electroclash and italodisco crowd ever wanted to do with that cool disco sound is present here: A cheesy baseline, cool synths and an innocent theme over a flat beat... Cant believe this hasnt been remixed/updated yet. If noone elsell do it i guess ill have to =D
