Rasmus' take on the Beach Boys classic is nothing short of brilliant; Brian Wilson in a two-step breakbeat mode!
Extremely rare this one, Rasmus' own label and 300 copies only.
Rasmus was the name to drop during the Big Beat years.
While his records on Bolshi are amazing, this is interesting too; a classic slab of acid techno with furious 303s and a great sample of some soldiers singing an ode to the silver box!

Pretentious, tuneless cash-in attempt by crossdressing swedes. Hiring Terry Callier, much like anyone who's looking for instant credibility these days, doesn't help.
This is all polish and shine, no grit no soul.
Unless you really do enjoy music that is made solely to fit nicely in you B&O hifi, beware of this.
Deep and hypnotic, this is one of the best Murk productions. The original pressing is murky to say the least but I suppose that only adds to its "authentic" qualities.
A typical Lekebusch record; inventive and extremely well put together. B1 features a sample from Scientist's "Scientist Wins The World Cup" album and is quite possibly more jamaica than any other techno track.
Lifted from the rediculously underrated second album, "Serious Pranks", this is wonderful and (yet again) Beach Boys sampling breaks. Can't go wrong with that. We're still waiting for a compilation ep, "Rasmus plays the Beach Boys", btw.
Everybody knows and loves the classic three albums. This is the hidden gem, very different from the hard sounds of 1980-82. Daf reformed in '85, released a couple of singles and then this; gay as fuck and very funky. Stand-out tracks are Brothers and Voulez Vous pts 1 & 2.
