Interesting to point out that this track was released 12yrs after it was written. It was played on a Detroit radio station back in 1992, listen to the Pod Vanguard EP on Buzz, youll hear a little snippet of the show and a mention of the track the DJ is going to play, which is.....(Kenny Larkins Let Me Think).

The Beginning was a new direction for Derrick and didnt receive the credit it should have. This was because people werent use to big intros and consequently Derrick released no new material until the Buzz releases in 92..The Promo release with the blue label and blank gold label on side B (apart from the matrix no. MS-15) is an elusive record and highly sought after. A 15 minute version of Emanon (which wasnt included on the tracklisting) was also written and appears on an unreleased Derrick may tape along with a completley different mix of Salsa Life.

Although the ambient version of Neurotic Behavior was released on ART records in 1993 it was actually written the same time as the Transmat release in 1990 and first appeared on an unreleased tape.
This also came out as a hand written copy which was distributed via (Larry Heards Gherkin Records) with the Gherkin stamp on it..

I have submitted the Promo release which only gave the tracklistings but not the artists. This came in a plain white cover with Panic In Detroit stamped on the front. 1992 was a great year for techno as a whole, and this LP along with the various 12" Samplers were some of the most emotional music from that period. It was elusive and sought after back then and still is 12 years on. Model 500s Dimensions has been re-released this year on the Subject Detroit label and been renamed Idea 1 which is a slightly longer version..

"The Journey" by Never On Sunday is without doubt the highlight of this release, quality deep emotional Detroit Techno at its finest.Warm analogue bass accompanied by soothing strings. The Red inked Promo is highly sought after, but the Stamped hand written version is even more elusive..
