Sadly, this cd (and I assume this applies to the other cds of this series of the unofficial Street Sounds Electro releases on Hard To Find Records also) is a rather effortlessly produced vinyl-to-cd transfer without bothering of eliminating any vinyl noise. In fact the producers of this cd must have used a vinyl copy that was worse than my own original 1984 lp - the noises, pops and crackles are so predominant that at times they distract you from the brilliant mix.
When originally buying this cd via ebay I was hoping for a nice cd-transfer from the original mastertapes to get a noise-free version of this lp. So before you consider buying this cd youd better think twice - if you own the original vinyl you can probably get a better result with trying your own vinyl-to-cd transfer via your pc and a standard sound editing program.
