Disco (2) - My Turn Jan 16, 2008
Outstanding Ghetto Tech release! "Lemmi see you work" satisfies by its more or less easy setting but rough elements. Sub basses from hell march in lockstep with razor sharp claps. Rim shots have never been more vital! The title results from a guy whose nose is probably occluded by a nose clip rappin' to convince a girl to get physical with him. The "clean" version just makes him mumbling.
"Westside" is like a hymn for everybody coming from the westside of his village, town, country, continent, whatever. A unprecedented rumble of rap and music! This is Ghetto Tech at its best! Straight out of the textbook mixconnection is combining influences of Hip Hop, Techno, House and Miami Bass. Absolutely funky!
Kord (2) - Gymnast I Sockiplast Jan 16, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
Obviously underestimated?! GYMNAST I SOCKIPLAST excels as very potent, truly fine techno particle. ON KENTH is music for swiveling hips. Clap and Cowbell are really activating. HOME COCKING is the psychedelic cream of this release! Some crazy whoopee music makes you wondering of shouting cats, babies and animals you even do not know of. PUFFY NIPPLES is simple high spirit music in a bit of tech-house manner. NEW JOG is like the sequel of Home Cocking but appears more friendly, again a bright techno tune.
DJ Looney Tune - Workstation Nov 29, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Probably one of the best trance releases ever! This record prooves: less is often more. The timeless attraction of Workstation is provided by its simple assembly. An ear candy melody crosses all the tunes and fulminates the crowd by perfectly composed breaks.
