we have contibuted to and remixed for |velvet acid christ|

this collection belongs to me and my husband, ben.p.

we listen mostly to industrial, ebm, electro, power/rhythm noise, experimental, idm, goa, and other forms of electronic music, but genres are a bit silly because most music doesn't fit into just one... we are the antithesis of genre whores =^.^=

basically, if we like something we like it, and if we don't we don't.

we like to collect ant-zen and hands productions releases, among other things, but we're not really completists in most cases. we're just too damn lazy for that! :) also, if we buy a realease that we don't like, we almost always sell it, hence the reason we don't have a huge collection.

the one thing we probably want more than anything on our want list is:

dkf/noisex: schmerzgrenze box set (steinklang industries)

if you're reading this and you know where I can find one, please let me know!

some other things we really want:

synapscape: S/T CD (ant-zen)
winterkälte: S/T LP (hands productions)
winterkälte: S/T 7" (hands productions)

when we're not broke we're always looking for:

mint or sealed factory records vinyl (joy division and new order)
mint or sealed skinny puppy vinyl
mint or sealed front 242 vinyl

how we rate releases:
1/5: terrible w/no redeeming qualities, and probably not electronic either.
2/5: pretty bad, maybe 1 or 2 redeeming qualities. possibly good enough to keep.
3/5: not bad... but not amazing either. also we rate most singles as 3/5.
4/5: many good tracks and/or a few amazing ones... just shy of being great
5/5: an exceptional album as a whole

there's nothing in our collection that we rated lower than 2/5, because a release has to have some sort of redeeming quality for us to even keep it :) 1/5 have basically been reserved for things we think are complete and utter crap, and not worth taking up space in our home.
