Profile: This is like 40% I have, I'm trying to build up a complete database and I'm still updating, it is taking longer than the AVE works here in Barcelona, but someday I'll have it ready. And, of course, I do love my records and they're not for sale. Why? There's a word to answer that: integral.

Note for those who ask me about the Curley 10": I bought the record in a record shop sale which was about to close, but I only found one of the two vinyls. So understand it's an unconplete release, and that's what you're not looking for, are you? Anyway, I'm not selling or swaping this. Just the crap.

bRUNA (3) - 05-Feb-09 11:57 AM
As we say in Spain, hes a "fistro de pecador". bRUNA makes absolutely lovely electronic music, mellow and melodic stuff that resembles somehow Boards of Canada, as hes a nostalgic dreamer of past childhood. Pop, simplicity and exactly what a track needs to be complete -sometimes is just one minute, no filler, just heavenly filler- is what defines his work.

And lets not forget how freak he is. He declared himself in a magazine a true fan of the Big Brother midget, of famous Japans "Sumo Mondorino", the "usted se mea" joke by Chiquito de la Calzada and the complete DVD collection of Martes y Trece, spanish answer to Monty Python, fijaté.

DJ Demierda - 26-Sep-05 04:11 AM
Infamous Marc Piñol might be, probably, the freakest DJ around. Designer, writer, painter, part-time DJ, cook and even occassional actor (remember the "Vente conmigo" video-clip by La Pequeña Suiza), hes a man of Renaissance in these complex times. Resident at Nitsa Club alongside mighty Fra and skilled DJ Coco, Demierda (you should write it De Mierda, though) is Barcelonas top DJ. You should check him live: a monster.

Rank Sinatra - Chairman Of The Bored - 23-Sep-05 11:24 PM
I suspect this is just the V/Vm guys taking the original songs, ripping them into their computer and filtering them to achieve this total mess of a noise Rank Sinatra is about. Total fun if you have the guts to listen in a row all these distorted versions of mainstream pop "classics": Bangles, Robbie Williams... For freaks only.

Sote - Electric Deaf - 23-Sep-05 11:24 PM
I still wonder why nor Sote neither Warp fans have paid attention to the mighty strength of this release. I did like what Sote did next -"Xoxo Ep", at SF label Dielectric-, but Im still waiting for a follow up of this hidden masterpiece of an unexplored electronic area: the fringe between old skool hardcore Acen style -the track is polyrhythmic and an odyssey in itself- and the most noisy breakcore around. Sote, if you ever read these words: WE WANT MORE OF THIS.

Andrea Parker - DJ-Kicks - The Tracks - 23-Sep-05 11:24 PM
I did never find her mixing specially interesting -I love Andreas music, but her DJ skills could be better-, so thats why this vinyl edition of her DJ Kicks surpasses the mixed CD. A pity the Dr. Octagon is not on the pack to practise with both tracks at home! -really love the moment it merges with Depeche Mode in the original CD-, but this is a valuable bunch of old skool electro classics and new skool electro weirdness.
