Pal Joey - Sol 2 Sol EP - 10-Jan-03 09:51 AM
Huge sax workout and deep house on the flip...some sexy vocals, huge for the peak hours...I t Feels Good...is a great cut, my favourite, it has a sweet sample but i cant figure out where i ve heard it before, deep and funky..this will fit into any set///PABLOSLIMS

Chavel Simms* - Give It Up - 10-Jan-03 09:17 AM
The Give it Dub track is killer..deep moody and sexy..the other cuts are still nice but have a pop or cheese appeal??somethin like that anyway. Jovonn is God and this slab o vinyl is no exception..this guy jus keeps gettin better..beautiful Dub..take a bow..PABLOSLIMS

Masters At Work - Blood Vibes / Jump On It / The Ha Dance - 10-Jan-03 09:15 AM
Big classic toon..Cutting never had it so good...Down tempo and hip hop on a techno distorted tip..make sense...drop it when the boss tells ya he needs people at the bar, the floor will still rock but the heads will have a chance to step to a lady and buy a drink...Ha Dance is really ruff and has that diva New York feel..kinda like and early Armand release..really nice but I prefer the downtempo dirty funk on this slab..PABLOSLIMS

Dino + Terry* - Morning, Motion And Moon Dub - 10-Jan-03 09:12 AM
Dino and Terry..outta Toronto...these boys have been pumping since forever, i was checking thier jams back in the mid 90s and the garage junkies always satisfied, if their ever in town be sure to pay your respects to these pioneers..their productions are no sleepers either, although i think the spinning is their niche..the production on this record is real tight, and real deep..no vocals on these cuts but surely mellow and still nice, not recommended for the dance floor, not a big one anyway, but squeeze it into your lounge..all three cuts are similar, deep disco with killer basslines..Classic should be happy to add this to their already hefty roster..PABLSLIMS

Derrick L. Carter* - A Hope Over U - 08-Jan-03 08:50 AM
Chicago disco..really nice ..th e vocal and dub mix are very alike, the vocal is cut almost all out in the dub version but the key licks and the base lines are filthy sweet..Ya gotta play this shit real loud to appreciate it fully..i love Carter..but he is a sound system producer...strictly for the floor...the vocals are soulful and remind me of CAJMEREs style. Really discoey cutz.PABLOSLIMS
