Wombatmusic - Shameful Silence - 03-May-07 07:23 AM
"Shameful Silence" is a very experimental, eclectic and psychedelic album. Its a journey through three worlds: world of the rituals (tracks: 1, 2, 3, 4), world of the future (tracks: 5, 6, 7, 9) and world of the nostalgia (tracks: 10, 11, 12). The most weird track on this album is track number 8., "Copaelectrocabana", which is a totally eclectic fusion of electronic music with big latin touch and this is the only track from all that I dont know in which world could I put... "Shameful Silence" is a very deep album, it has mainly sad emotions. There are no bad tracks here, my favourite is "Shimmering Madness and Hovering Butterflies" which is a beautiful vision of oblivion.
Astral Projection - Dancing Galaxy - 05-Apr-07 03:24 AM
When someone ask me: "what is your favourite album?" I always have one and only one answer: "Dancing Galaxy" from Astral Projection. "Dancing Galaxy" is absolutely and definetely the album of my life. This is CD is perfect on every way. We have a tracks here that are creating beautiful and psychedelic journey beyond the space. Every track here is excellent, every track here is a pure goa classic and every track here is immortal. I will listen this CD to my death and after my death... Before I discovered Astral Projection I never supposed that music would be the passion of my life.
Makyo - Swara Mandala - 04-Apr-07 05:31 AM
"Swara Mandala" is the first CD from Makyo (Gio Fazio) that I heard and I must say that I am from now his fan! The whole CD is the perfect fusion of electronic and world music. This is one of the best CDs in this style that Ive heard. Makyo puts a lot of creativity in all these tracks productions, every track is different. For example on this album we have downtempo progressive trance on "Clarity (Soft Prana Mix)", beatiful ambient on "Clarity (Melting Snow Mix)" and sounds like Ishq - "Skin As Soft As Starlight"; but in my opinion the best track from this CD is "Shalale" - its a pure world music, but with psychedelic emotion. I love it.
Astral Projection - 03-Apr-07 06:36 AM
What can we say about Astral Projection... Astral Projection is the most known group in goa history. Astral Projection is a group of two artists from Israel: Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmutter, this is also their main project. Their side-projects was only on the first two "Trust In Trance" (1994, 1995) compilations and on the compilation called "Trust In Trance - The Next Millenium" (1998). Before their create Astral Projection (with Yaniv Haviv, but he left the band after "The Astral Files" release in 1996) their was involved in SFX project.
Astral Projection in my life... Astral Projection is absolutely my favourite music group. I discovered this project and a whole goa/psytrance music in 2002. Since that I love Astral Projection for their incredible emotions which are on their every release and every track - without that on the "Ten" CD, because this is not their really CD - its a CD with remixes of old Astral Projections tracks made by other artists from trance scene. While this is a crap - the other CDs with "Astral Projection" in the name (and CDs with "Trust In Trance") are so good that I dont know how to describe it. Its so fantastic!... In my private top-10 of the best goa tracks - everyone is from this group! "Let There Be Light", "People Can Fly", "Kabalah", "Maian Dream", "No One Ever Dreams", "Flying Into A Star", "Liquid Sun", "Andromeda", "12.000 Suns", "Nilaya" - in my opinion if you dont know this tracks than you dont know what goa music is.
Thank you Astral Projection. Thank you Avi Nissim. Thank you Lior Perlmutter. And thank you God for their music!
