Timeline (2) - Return Of The Dragons - 10-Mar-06 02:51 PM
This is IMHO the greatest UR record ever. Time Sensitive is truly one of those special pieces of music that makes you glad to be alive. Such beauty and emotion make this an absolute essential record for UR fans to have. The Los Hermanos mix is good and is the one that will get played in clubs but the original for me is amazing.
UR* Presents Galaxy 2 Galaxy - A Hitech Jazz Compilation - 06-Mar-06 07:33 PM
This is an incredible album from UR showcasing some of the finest releases from Galaxy 2 Galaxy, URs band. Some of the tracks such as Nation 2 Nation and Body and Soul are from early releases but then there are new tracks such as Mommas Basement which is a great downtempo jazz track but the real highlight for me is Afros, Arps and Minimoogs. This song is amazing and has shot right up there into my favourite UR tracks ever. Does exactly what it says on the tin. A track with real funk and soul that for me is a dancefloor bomb. But IMO the whole album is great.
Dont be shy you know you want one!!!
Underground Resistance - Sweat Electric - 06-Mar-06 09:13 AM
Just picked this up from a guy in the D who says there are 200 copies in existance. Cost me an absolute fortune but was worth every penny. Electro at its best for me.
Dark Comedy - Funkfaker: Music Saves My Soul - 26-Nov-05 12:45 PM
This album for me sums up why kenny is the greatest producer to come outta the D IMHO. Such beauty and emotion in every track make for a truly special listening experience. Kenny Larkin is pushing the boundaries of Detroit Techno into areas no other producer is even attempting to. For me the highly has to be House Music. Beautiful chords and an emotiv vocal combine to make a incredible piece of music. This album is a masterpiece. Invest your money in this today, you will not be disappointed.
Planetary Assault Systems - Archives - 26-Aug-05 02:08 PM
Booster and Twilight are great tracks but for me it has to be Gated. What a track. Classic dancefloor techno that will always get me boppin. First came across this track through Dave Angel dj sets around 1993 and it took me an eternity to track it down. Luke Slater at his best for me. Essential.
