i came across this amazing record today and just had to buy it!
great synthpop, space disco album.

obviously DAFT PUNK have listened a lot to that stuff and probably are even inspired by the outfits of the band, for they all look like the well known spacemen. aight, nucleus did that too, still i guess the frenchman knew pick up sth. for their anonymous style from this classic.
There is also a loop on the aa-side of the record made by pilotem and hannes k. which encounters the message DONT STOP in a rather dope beat way. It´s a bit hard to catch, cause the needle won´t run automatically into the groove. of course it´s ment as some kind of secret special, but for all discogs-heads here´s the clou.
Obviously a alltime ambient classic album! howie dedicates the album to the birth of his first child. on most of the tunes he creates an atmosphere that makes me meditate and surely makes not only me think of how an unborn or nu born child may hear the world. still the album is changing a lot in styles and moods, dynamics and tonality. a real trip through an electronic organic sound universe and a really nice example for how fresh british producer have been in the early 90s.
not to forget the blazing artwork of the booklet. i can´t analyse that now, but let it be known: you can spend some hours with the LP and just go over and over the differently designed and sometimes transparent pages. DIG IT
