R.A.S.E., The - The Ron Allen Sound Experience - 22-Mar-08 09:33 PM
Get On Up is definitely the mix of choice on this release. It's a happy house number that will get you to "put your hands together" and throw 'em in the air. It's a very uplifting track that belongs on any dance floor. The beat moves along and makes you shake while the piano will make you tingle. Sends shivers up and down my spine whenever I hear it. This is a great house track and belongs in a collection near you.

O.D.C.* - Model 9000 - 27-Sep-07 02:46 AM
A true underground house classic! Deep, tribal drums with hot, heavy bass lines over which you'll hear the monologue of HAL - that crazy computer from Stanley Kubrick's science fiction masterpiece, "2001: A Space Odyssey". Just like the movie, this track will forever be amongst my all time favourites. Crafted with that familiar, yet accessible Bottom Line sound. Excellent and thoroughly recommend you have a loisten if your into deep house.

O.D.C.* - My Mind Is Going - 27-Sep-07 02:39 AM
One of ODC's many space themed house tracks. Like their other hot record, "Model 9000", there's the sample from Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" - HAL, the malfunctioning computer, over a typically excellent slice of house music.

I've heard this track so many times and it still manages to send me into a spin, as do all ODC's other tracks. Simple, yet manufactured with class and sophistication. House music that will stand the test of time. And always will be underground.

Shirley Murdock - Let There Be Love! - 27-Sep-07 02:21 AM
This a very hot dance track. The Frankie Knuckles mixes lift this track to another world - a world of love - hot and sweaty. The Classic 12" Mix is the mix for me. It features Shirley's full vocal soaring over Frankie's crisp, cool mixing sound with stabbing keyboards and includes the sound of rain just like sweat falling on the dance floor. Percussions great too. "I say! Isay! Let there be love!" True class!

Keith Thompson - I Want What You've Got - 17-Aug-07 04:57 PM
Hot! Heavy! Deep! A real classic house record with a male vocal chanting over deep tribal drums. One of my all time underground favourite tracks. Love it!!!
