Profile: I mainly collect goa/psy trance and ambient cd's and vinyl - sometimes I buy weird stuff as well...

I appreciate my cd's very much and therefore I do not give them/trade them away for nothing. I am very likely into trading if you can offer me something from my want list.

Mostly I value my cd's according to quality and because I like my music - availability or what someone else might charge does not count that much. If you find my prices too high/"low" then please mail me the reason. I am willing to offer quantity rebate - again mail me your offer.

In case you have to visit Copenhagen then feel free to mail me any questions regarding your stay ;-)

Solar Quest - Sola Luna - 13-Apr-08 05:53 PM
Yes - this album is a beauty that almost surpasses description ! But since this is discogs then I'll have to try converting aerial magic into words.

With this double album Solar Quest constitutes his position as a true master within the genre. To me Sola Luna is a journey to an immense parallel universe full of relaxation and chillness. Especially, I like the tracks with Celtic and Indian flutes being played - woow I almost thought it was Raja Ram on his famous silver flute !

Please note, if you don't like flutes and vocals as part of your electronic music voyage then I advise you to stay away from this album. To the newcomers I can guarantee this album makes a brilliant introduction to the ambient/etnical chillout music or scene as such.

Various - Trip Through Sound - 24-Apr-06 04:34 PM
Look no further - this is what it's all about ! This BLUE ROOM RELEASED compilation is a class A+ extract from the golden years in psy/goa trance history. If I go through my collection then its hard to find any compilation coming close to this one - its simply in a class of it's own. Buy this compilation right away if you ever get to see it !

Delta, The - Scizoeffective - 12-Dec-05 06:19 AM
This album is a true masterpiece within the category of deep dark trance. Marcus C. Maichel's first solo album SCIZOEFFECTIVE will generate the most evil kinds of dark and sinister waves of sound you ever want to hear. Track one "pop" starts of the album with such a low freq bassline that it will stun dogs and other pets instantly if you do not get them away in time - a friend of mine lost his right loudspeaker after having played pop !! Track 4 "Thing" catapults you directly into a multi layered horror movie perfectly directed by Marcus making it a one of a kind track. Delta Skelter and As A Child I Could Walk on The Ceiling makes out the backbone of this record. Both tracks are a must have and I guess that most people into this genre would define these tracks as classics. Track 7 "Supercell" is the most monotonous and industrialistic track on the record. If you need to demolish buildings then fire-up a sound system with this track definitely it gonna blast down the buildings ! Track 7 is a fantastic dub re-mix of As A Child I Could Walk on The Ceiling - the transformation into dub works perfect even though it sounds quite unrealistic compared to the rest of the content of this album. To make it short: this album is a must have, highly recommended and ultra rare to find. For the last part I can say that I have'nt seen it for sale in 3 years - good luck finding it though !

Koxbox - Forever After - 11-Dec-05 08:55 PM
If you are just a bit confused about what the definition of psychedelic trance is about then you will know listening to this outstanding album by Koxbox. Forever After is a sound universe consisting of pure psychelic tracks that no other has managed to match yet (second album from Koxbox Dragon Tales does not count... ;-)) With "Point Of No Return" (perfect title for this track and the whole album as such) Koxbox takes us on a journey into the most fantastic and diversified psychedelic sound trip you can imagine. At 4:59 you will need tunnel vision as Ian, Frank and Peter will rocket you right into what psy trance was all about and still is about: loads of enlighted sound tunnels made of multi layered as well as multi fragmented sounds throwing you in all directions at the same time getting you to a higher state of mind ! Now Skip on to track 3 at 2:17 and follow the track on and you feel you self surrounded by a rock solid structure of complex psychedelic sound waves ensuring that we are on the track to yet another level. Yes this album is a cornerstone for Koxbox as well for much of what has been made after..and hopefully what has to come. Even if I wrote a thousand lines more I would'nt be capable of expressing all the details of this stunning album from back then. Instead go and get it you won't be disappointed. And if you do get disappointed then Crack on because now you can be proud of having one of the very classic albums of Psychedelic trance in your collection.
