Ronski Speed With Stoneface & Terminal - Incognition - 04-Jul-08 08:17 AM
This track is, in my opinion, very good.
And thats quite a surprise coming from Ronski Speed. Indeed, this artist is part of those trance producers that I would consider as untalented and mediocre.
Incognition is one of his only tracks to be really nice, good as well on the dancefloor as to listen carefully during a sunday afteroon.
A track well built-up, with a nice melody that stays in your mind!
A very nice track, really. Ronski should get back to this kind of productions ; but unfortunately, I dont think I will. Bad news for quality trance amateurs!

Eddie Sender - Lenin - 03-Jul-08 06:13 AM
Im usually a big fan of Moorising Recordings, and this first release on MoonNRG really caught immediately my attention.
Unfortunately, I was kinda disappointed by this release.
Eddie Sender didnt succeed in bringing some harmony to the techy-style he wanted to use in this track. So after listening to it, it just seems like you heard 7 minutes of bangin beats, but nothing more. Theres no real driving melody ; and above all, theres no great build-up to catch the attention.
I just felt, after listening to this track, that Ive never been able to fit into its spirit.
I expected more!

TyDi - Kopi Susu - 03-Jul-08 06:03 AM
TyDi is bangin, Tydi is emotional, Tydi is complete, Tydi is talented : well, Tydi is just very good.
And even if Im not really into prog house, I gotta say this young Australian never fails to impress me. His tracks are very well built-up, with stunning melodies and sounds. Often, he adds some amazings details which give every track a real "uniqueness".
I think Tydi might be the upcoming star of the prog house genre.
"Kopi Susu", with its weird name, is an unique track, indeed. The melody is calm & peaceful. But at the same time it has a lot of power. The "Chocolate & Cream Mix" is really amazing, though the other one isnt bad at all neither.
After such a good track, Tydi is becoming a name to remember... and hes on fire : his new track, "Russia", is almost as good as this one.

Eric Prydz / Pryda - Pjanoo / F12 - 03-Jul-08 05:46 AM
Pjanoo is a nice track to be played in Ibiza or at a housey-beach party.
Nevertheless, its almost impossible for me to listen to this kind of music by myself. The melody is so boring! After two or three listens, it was just pissing me off. Very repetitive, heavy, boring!
Im usually not a fan of Eric Prydz, and this one wont make me change my mind...
A good track to be played sometimes during parties, but definitely not worth a purchase!
I gave it 2/5!

Jean-Jacques Goldman - En Passant - 03-Jul-08 03:34 AM
This is, in my opinion, the best album released by Jean-Jacques Goldman.
Indeed, he seems to have reached a mature level, with this album. The weird style of Rouge is totally forgotten now ; the banging sounds of the first albums are missing too.
Now we have some dark melodies, beautiful whispered choruses, nice & dark lyrics. Goldman reaches a new level in his music ; this album is unique in his discography. The album of maturity ; the best he ever made.
By the way, Erick Benzi did a nice work on this album, too.
My personal favourites are Natacha and En Passant, beautiful songs that I wont forget... with meaningful, peaceful, astonishing lyrics... and powerful, calm and dark melodies.
Thats a "must have"!
