This was one of my favourite mix cds back in 2000, which he gave out at Club Blue in Hollywood, CA. He used to spin at raves all the time with Christopher Lawrence back in 1998-99. I hear they were roommates in San Francisco before they moved to LA. Thomas also worked at Grooveriders in Sherman Oaks, along with Mena Suvari (who he dated).

My buddy tells me that they actually went to a playground and interviewed kids for this track. The girl on here is talking about her younger sister. This 10-year-olds obviously wiser than her years. Love the song and the inspirational lyrics. Its got a positive message that isnt cheesy, which ill PARAPHRASE here:

Id tell her to appreciate what she has now because when she was younger, she didn’t know how to. Shes learning by her mistakes and will tell her to appreciate thing now that she has it. So when she grows up, she doesn’t waste it.

tilt mix is very high energy and epic. adds some chanting to the tune. if youve heard the original, melodic version of the song, its just mind-blowing what tilt did to this one.

a heavenly bit of progressive/deep house, with beautiful female vocals and strings that make you weepy. definitely in my top 10 favourites of all-time.
