Profile: DJ, promoter, musician, writer. If you know the New York underground scene, then you probably know Reade Truth in some capacity. He started his DJ career 1990 as an uncompromising industrial DJ playing in clubs like Limelight, Building and Pyramid. Along the way Reade "Truth" became a regular columnist for the scene, authoring many articles and reviews. Migrating to techno and joining forces with the Brooklyn underground, he was an integral part of the Sonic Groove empire. His recording career began on the cult label Direct Drive. He now runs the elusive Path Records imprint and records as Crimen Excepta.
