Reviews & Discussion:

This is a wonderful album by an artist who has released great music also via Morr Music and I think Charizma records. If you like the music of electronica labels like Morr or City Centre Offices then this release is for you !!

It shares 1 song (Chad F.) in a different version with the Morr Music release "Poploops For Breakfast". It took me some time to track down these releases, but it was worth it.

Highly recommended. : )
Music as good as this cannot go unmentioned. Mr Schnauss outdid himself indeed!. As a follow up to the amazing "Far Away Trains Passing By" this what some people might describe as being the "difficult second album" if he was a rock band just surpasses its predecessor. It is an example of how wonderful music can be, especially in today’s world of regurgitated ideas and products. Not that I am saying it is totally without nods to the past, but it is just so well executed…

With some easy comparisons to things from the past such as shoegazery things as Cocteau Twins and Slowdive, the richness of the sounds and production, mixed with beautifully crafted arrangements and melodic landscapes that invite the listener to travel with Ulrich again and again… Its almost like a journey home from far away… Other comparisons can be drawn to things like Manitoba’s current CD “Up In Flames”. Also influences from the likes of Plaid, Black Dog and early Warp intelligence’s are apparent.

Long live the indietronica, shoegazer, electronica, call it what you will music that is being passed down to us by the labels of Morr Music and City Centre Offices…. Long may it last, and I just hope I can keep up with these wonderful new (and the older) releases !!!
