Basement Soul - People Make The World / Want To Dance / Girl You Knock Me Out - 26-Sep-08 11:07 AM
The track A1 is an 80s Jazzfunk cover version of Milt Jacksons "People Make The World Go Round" originally released on the CTI record: Milt Jackson "Sunflower" Discogs release number 421187. The track A2 is a Jazzdance Breakbeat . Maybe worth to be called a DJ tool but you can not call it a song, it sounds like a loop. The track B1 is just the 12inch version of "Outstanding" from the Gap Band. See the original at discogs release number 139982. Just some very little differences make it a re-edit. For all those who do not have the great original Deep Disco Funk classic ...Take this one.
Reggaetone Masters - Chacaron - 20-Feb-08 05:13 AM
The Blow Mix contains a great Disco Funk version using the Instrumental of Kurtis Blows Disco Rap Hit "The Breaks" overdubbed with super funny mumbleling male vocals. This version is pure dancing fun while listening to that voice talking like he is absolutely stoned to the bone. It reminds me of George Kranz "dindada do do" on drugs as guest with Kurtis Blow or somehing alike... The other 2 versions are rather progressive House mixes wich do not have that fun factor. The House versions may work great on a bigger Dancefloor.
Gizz TV - Saure Gurken - 29-Aug-07 07:51 AM
Yes all the copies seem to have all slightly different artwork. Mine got the plant pattern on one side. on the other side it is plain purple. I have heard 3 copies until now and both sound very dynamic but with a little crackle sound allthough they looked like mint. The vinyl quality was obviously not very clean in this pressing process.
Rahsaan Patterson - Love In Stereo - 08-Aug-06 11:10 PM
The track It Aint Love is one of the awesome modern soul tracks with a deep house appeal used by DJs like Theo Parrish (for example in the DJ Mix CD Eclectic Asthetic 2)and Moodymann. furthermore it contains several parts sampled by Theo Parrish. ....dont....
