Profile: I've been up to collecting music since the age of fourteen and most of my pocket money went into that from then on. Most idiotically, I sold my vinyl collection at the age of seventeen to change towards CDs, now I miss a lot of them like the early SPK stuff.. well. My musical interests grew from Prince to Einstuerzende Neubauten to Brian Eno to sound tapestries and industrial music generally, before I started to work in a record shop in 1992 and my musical horizon exploded. Today I'm mostly listening to micro-electronics, found sound on the one hand and chipstyle and postrock on the other. So I didn't really get rid of melodies. Anyway.
