Reviews & Discussion:

What a great piece of work!! Two magnificent mesmerizing cuts of avant-garde mnml-tech. On this release Mr. Delano demonstrates his accumulated experience in terms of solid production and immaculate selection of ingredients. Sound of this record shares common features with his previous works but at the same time it goes further exploring new rhythmic and sonic horizons. Honestly, if it were a bit more bizzare than that it would be too much for my ears, but that is what differs a talent from a mediocrity - a talent knows how to find a balance and make even crazy ideas musically pleasant.
For sure this record does not suite the tastes of the techno majority and I doubt that it will ever get wide acceptance (it is still in the stores!!) but it is not going anywhere from my play box in the nearest future and I will never sell it - I really dig it and I saw what it can do to people on the dancefloor if served in the right manner.
This release influenced me a lot. I call this kind of stuff hypnotech and this one is a true gem I've been listening to several years. The melodies are so-o-o-o catchy!! Perfect balance, never gets boring, work of a genius!!
Drums, baseline + simple melody or two + deranged voice trying to speak Martian with you... Doesn't look sophisticated... But try making something driving like that and you'll discover that it is enormous talent of this guy that turns these few tools into dance-floor killers every-time he is approaching his music making machines. Moreover, Alex is one of the few guys out there that has his very own sound that can be easily recognized.
I do think that for this release and [apnea 10] Alex should be perpetualized in marble or at least have a street named after him.
