Reviews & Discussion:

Plavka Aug 31, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
The voice of an angel, quite simply.

I really believe that Jam & Spoon wouldnt be the success they are today if it werent for the vocals of Plavka, especially teamed with the lyric writing talents of nosie katzmann.

Right in the night & Odyssey to anyoona sound better each year, the beautifully emotional tones in her voice are timeless & drew me into dance music back in 1994 when I first heard Right in the night.
DJs @ Work - Someday Mar 15, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
The second track on the b-side (black & text on the picture disc) is the extended club vocal, it has the vocal breakdown but not as long & peppered with breaks as on side 'a'
Although this tune may be perceived as possibly 'cheesy' that for me is out-weighed by how wonderful it is.
It reminds me of mid nineties german trance/rave material, unashamed euphoria & happy elements, breakbeats, riffs & loveley vocalists singing about fantastic things!
I first heard it at a Tunnel Trance night at Privelage in Ibiza,it was dropped in between lots of harder tracks & lifted the whole room! 10/10 for me.
Yoji Biomehanika Dec 24, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Yoji rocks in many ways, I had heard the hype & heard the records - also live, Yoji is in a league of his own, not superior to tiesto-just very different. The hard japanese artists (i.e. sharpnel) have an anything goes attitude which is a breath of fresh air to the dance scene. Full of energy & contrasting sounds that make the crowds respond everytime! Hard, almost newstyle gabber in places, then progressive, rhythmic, highly emotional & melodic in others. A hardstyle rip of video liked the radiostar at global gathering is a prime example!
BT - The Technology EP Dec 23, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
The Tiesto Version of Force Of Gravity is in a league of its own, as previously stated, JC Chavez, of NSYNC fame shines brightly as vocalist, I had previously thougt it was BT on the vocals due to the similarities with 'Love Comes again'. The progressive & uplifting nature of this remix is pure trademark tiesto & has n dating elements, making it in my eyes timeless. Also check out the Ferry Corsten bootleg of this track, the same wonderful song in full effect but with Ferrys more full on energy & predictabilty-all in more than excellent.
Motiv 8 Nov 12, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Steve Rodway AKA Motiv8 created some excellent remixes that set commercial clubs on fire, all artists covered.
Very poppy & predictable but always uplifting in many ways.
A definate inspiration & definately pointed a few in the direction of Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten etc..
Commander Tom - Are Am Eye? Sep 09, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Definative hard trance classic that inspired a generation & no doubt played a big part in the hoover sound of uk hard house. Commander Tom - german trance legend & co-writer of very similar but unique & equally outstanding Believer by DJ Energy.

The original mix is still the best by far.
Tiësto* - Tiësto In Concert Sep 08, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Absolutely mindblowing DVD, I wish I could have been there.
An interactive feel for the whole duration, well thought out & moving in places this is one for the collection in my opinion. This shows the reason why tiesto is the number one DJ in the world, his control & interation are second to none & an inspiration to any DJ. 10/10 an ideal after club mood setter!
Jeyênne, The* - Time Warp Aug 16, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Primetime DJ MZone playlist material, with an excellent groove in the starting riff that carries the track harder, right to the end-a 150bpm+ frankfurt beat classic.
Angelic Touchdown - Marinero Aug 16, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
This record covers many emotions & trance styles, a dream house robert miles esque style track on there too, that takes you away...fabulous. The original has so much energy & feeling it stands up there on its own, the breakdown is an angel orchestra that cannot be bettered - 10/10!
