Profile: I keep my collection here and sell the odd bit. I sell mainly from 23rd Precinct. Along with these two accounts orders can also be combined with C.O.F. and sebrofdivad.
I'll be adding items for sale as and when I can along with audio clips. If you're interested in any of my items for sale and I haven't got round to adding a clip yet... JUST ASK!
I only rate releases I own (might have sold the odd one) and have listened to in full. Only a fraction of the way to rating my collection but getting there... SLOWLY!
And if you're interested there are some mixes here.

Sasha - Involver (Special Edition) - 18-May-08 12:03 PM
Picked this up in the store and thought to myself "Nice packaging! It's contents however will be hit or miss though I'm sure!"
I've listened through a few of the GU compilations and enjoyed the journey which each DJ/compiler has taken me on. They've always been more of a 'musical statement' than a banging club orientated compilation which makes them appealing to me.
I have to say that the the first disc with Grand National and Shpongle tracks on it real let down and a waste of good vinyl. I don't doubt that the two tracks sat well in the compilation as a whole but having not heard the particular GU release they were featured on I was disappointed.
Disc 2 however is worth having for sure! Both tracks remixed by Sasha and of the standard you would expect from him. The Eat Static track builds steadily and has a nice rhythmic feel to it with a steady kick and delicate hi-hats it works well and bursts into a pretty nice chorus of chanting. The Hysterix track has all the features of one of his older QAT mixes of old. It's these two tracks that save this double pack from being a real dissapointment.
I used to buy heroin in little foil wraps. I suppose I had hoped if I bought vinyl wrapped in it the music would be pure and uncut. Sadly the standard of goods on disc 1 of this will surely counter act the quality of that on disc 2 and there will be no real danger of over dose. It will however prevent me from going into cold turkey until I make my next purchase.
At least if I need a quick 'toot' I won't short of something to smoke it off! Thanks Global Underground!
Utah Saints - Something Good '08 - 16-Feb-08 09:49 AM
What a lot of utter guff this release is! I must have been on the crack pipe when I ordered it. In my opinion this type of track defines 1992 and should be left there in all its glory. The original will always be remembered so why is that Data feel the need to trample all over it with todays poxy 'electro house' sound?
The Van She Tech Mix is probably the best of a bad bunch here. It still has some feeling of the original using the vocal and bassline fairly well but the Bart B More Mix is terrible!! It plods on and on and finally it gets to the piano riff and you think things might pick up... erm no! Back to the same shite that was used on the intro!
Advice to Data... Stick to the mass produced and manufactured crap that todays kids lap up and leave tunes like this alone please!
Think I'll ask for my six quid back and put it towards my next rock!
Kraftwerk - Aerodynamik / La Forme - 05-Oct-07 02:30 PM
Hot Chip are certainly "hot property" at the moment! A nice little re-work of two tracks the German innovators of the electronic genre here.
The Intelligent Design mix of "Aerodynamik" is the one I go for. While keeping with the feel of the original it now moves along at a nice pace after a spacey intro and breakdowns.
The remix of "La Forme" isn't as dance floor orientated but has it's moments. It sees more of my slipmat than it does of my Ortofon though.
Rob Acid - On Fire - 17-Aug-07 03:41 PM
This record kicks my ass everytime I hear it! Not since I was over awed by the sounds of Hardfloor has an acid track gave me those unmistakable chills down my spine.
"On Fire" kicks off like a greyhound bolting out the traps and it's pounding beats stop only twice for breath before gathering more momentum on their return. As you are lead to believe this monster is coming to an end, by what sounds like a train screeching to a halt, it pulls a sneaky number on you and kicks off once again leaving you the perfect oppertunity for the mix down.
The only problem is choosing a record to try and follow this awesome tune! I very much doubt if I'll ever hear another acid track to give me the high this one does! I do hope so though!
H-Man - Manga (Remixes) - 21-Jul-07 06:16 AM
This is one seriously good record! It has a an awesome, jaw dropping bass line which is one of the factors which contributes to making this tune so distinctive.
This working over and under the progressive beats along side some pretty catchy squelchy noises makes for a killer track. Like most of Thomas Schumacher's work it is of the highest standard. For me this is probably one of the most simplist and minimalistic ones to date but just as effective!
I enjoy it so much that, if it were at all possible, I would rate about 7/5!!!
It will just need to settle for a 5 for now though!!!
