There was i time when i played "acid pill" live in a club. I will never forget the moment how the track builds from single bassdrum kicks and the speech sample "an acid pill" to an monster of a track with an just genius acid line. This record is a reason for, that italians in the mid 90s made the crazyest acid records of all time. Especially ACV and Hot Traxx putted out so much unbelievable sounds, but sadly much of them never got played anymore or never get explored my anyone.
Jana Clemen - Dynamics - 18-Dec-07 01:45 PM
Pretty unknown Record from Jana Clemen. Journey Through Life is an Techno-Testament for me!! Well programmed Drum machine with Rimshots in the foreground and cool breaks with overturning Bass Drums (listen carefully). The repetitive metallic melody and the "wap wap" just recess the Eargasm. The track delivers me many soul and a big heart for this music - the title fits 100% Just for this Track the Record is worth a buy.
Its a shame that she didnt release more to that time.
DJ Adam X* - Cannabalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller - 02-Oct-06 11:05 AM
house of horror samples suburban knights "the groove", its an very awesome rolling hardcore track that just wont stop! one of the songs you drop and the people go wild. very hard long reverb drumkick, 2 twirling acid lines and pattern change every few beats! i just love just machine sounding records: snare snare crash crash boom boom alright! thanks adam :)
Dual Race - Keep Your Crossover - 14-Sep-06 09:24 AM
the second track of the b-side is awesome, one of the best driving techno monsters out there! in the background a whistling noise pierces into your head and the main thema sounds like a dirty factory with old machines pounding and pounding....it really sounds like a tape record or something, but it sounds adequate!!
a track you hear many times but dont know the name of :)
