Reviews & Discussion:
The "Frenchappella" has proved to be a most useful acapella for DJ use. It has proved to be a catchy intro or break and those who own two copies may have experimented with even more possiblities. Many producers have used the "Frenchappella" as source for sampling. Samples from this classic can be heard on many records. The "Frenchappella"is not on the European pressings unfortunately.
Most tracks on the German Leptone label by "The Hypnotist" were released on Rising High as well. This particular remix of "Pioneers of the warped groove" is an exeption. But this is the version that can be found on compilation albums like House Party III and Turn up the bass 17 by Arcade! This remix of "Pioneers of the warped groove" is exeptionally hard for "the Hypnotist" It's full of hard and dark techno and acid sounds. Maybe it was too hard for the UK.
