"Lets Ride", one of the few highlights of Q-Tips first solo album, features an amazingly catchy guitar riff that is cleverly lifted off a solo guitar version of "Giant Steps" as performed by Joe Pass. A classic track that went largely unnoticed at the time of its release.

Erule - World Wide (Domination) - 11-Jan-07 05:40 PM
A surprisingly rare release by Erule, who is best known for his classic 1994 12" Listen Up / Synopsis on Pallas. This is a bit later effort, but it has the same sound and feel as Listen Up - something he has failed to achieve on other releases. I think these tracks may be from his debut album that was never released as the label went bankrupt.

A drugged-out slice of electronic Italo-Disco about dropping acid while "touring the clubs". An acquired taste (the music, that is), but one that Ive grown to appreciate through the years. The vocals are really bad, but thats part of the appeal of this weird track. Theres also a reference to Studio 54 in the intro.
