Profile: I've been playing with electronic bleeps since about 1991 with an early hip-hop addiction prior. Love the Detroit techno, Chi-house and German Ubercoolische sounds, plus all those related areas between - it doesn't matter where it's from, what matters is where the music is at! Slowly getting all those records listed - it takes forever!

Sorry, but I will not fulfil requests for audio rips.

Blake Baxter - The Prince Of Techno - 06-Jul-06 03:51 AM
Amazing record. Blakes vocals on "When A Thought Becomes U" are haunting and melancholic, yet have an uplifting effect. Sublime music from the Motor City.

Juice Records (Australia) - 05-May-06 10:41 PM
Australias first techno record label, and to this day, by and far the best.

Not a label that was concerned with fads, but just making solid techno that allowed you to groove beyond imagination.

Alpha Delta Division - Outer Rim - 05-May-06 02:04 PM
Where Adelaide meets minimal. Well ahead of the current Berlin ubercoolische minimal phase, but some time after the antics of Dan Bell and Rob Hood came this floating, wafting monster. 13 minutes of bliss.

Galaxy 2 Galaxy - Galaxy 2 Galaxy - 30-Mar-06 12:00 PM
A brilliant record. Listen to "Metamorphosis" to hear samples of "Riot", "Sonic Destroyer", "Livin For The Night", "Sometimes I Feel Like" and the introduction of "Punisher" from a gig in Utrecht, Holland. All this played over deep space exploration tones. Essential UR that is still as solid as it was when it was released 10+ years ago.

New Electronica - 24-Mar-06 01:00 PM
Whilst many record labels were locked in on the dancefloor, New Electronica was more focussed on the living room, providing an outlet for artists such as Florence, As One and Tony Drake to present sublime sounds for more subdued moments.
