Reviews & Discussion:
What more can one ask for? A larger Stimulus? No?? How about this larger than life re-edit release from the Rong ranch hands. These 2 tracks represent the glory days of the old underground parties. Sweaty nights, pounding warehouse walls, bottled water and plenty of bass. You could not ask for 2 of the best cuts to come out on Nu Groove to be re-edited for the new Economy. A must have for anyone serious about getting down & dirty.
MI 7 - Rockin' Down The House

This was the tune in 91. Heard this 3 times or more a night. Anthem, Rave days, old school, glow sticks, braided hair, beads, nitrous tanks, black lights, fog machines, dirty overall's, mickey mouse gloves, bunk hits of E, cloves, paypoints, $20 tickets, 8 DJ's, speakers stacked, dirty bathrooms with overflowing toilets, mucked warehouse spaces, old lofts, bass, break beats, funk rooms, disco in the back, promoters, hosts, afterhours, long drives home, morning light & a whole load of fun!
Rub-N-Tug* - Fabric 30

Love the crowd noise, record pops, skips & the bumping into decks effects. Not Perfect, but pleasurable. You can tell "Fun" is going on when these 2 play. This eclectic mix is great in the car & on the head. Thomas and Eric are some of the best selectors around, digging into the old along with some spectacular new cuts. The packaging is superb as well as the track-listing, something for everyone, grab a chair and some hair and let loose! | ||||
