Reviews & Discussion:

It's all about the Larry Heard smooth mix. If this ever apply this should actually be called "music from God" as i've never heard anything more godly than this track.
Larry heard's touch is in full effect by this year 1994. The beats, the chords stabs, the vocal by "mi tue", every inch of the production feels "smoothness". "Soothing your mind" beats by the master, and best of all he'll drive a good dancefllor nuts with this one.

I love all kinds of sounds drawing from house and techno. But nothing shakes me like does a really soulful tune that means something. a kind of "key tune" that people can cheer on. I feel this one is the case "people of all nations, dancing together" mixed with the amazing groove makes for a soul drenching tune. At the right moment and with the right people it's a magic moment. Forget all the so called soulful diva type poop. This one is the soulfulness

A top notch first release for rhythmic deep from detroit. And this is nice stuff ! If you liked rick wade with a techno feel, theo parrish, or simply what comes out from detroit you'll simply love it. The original mix starts things deep with moody keys and a long progression of the track to deeper and deeper level. Great doubled hands clapping the way Moodymann does them.
On side B, Scott Ferguson delivers the dubby remix, possibly one of his finest track to date.
Bass Symphony - Deepside Oct 29, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
the LA mix is very a cool number with some deep and percussive jazzy organ knocking all thru the trak. A girl repeating "take you there! on the deepside"
Other tracks are a bit harder and typical of stip sound
