Fockewulf 190 - Gitano - 26-Aug-09 01:34 PM
There are not so many Italo records which i really like. Most of them are too cheesy and annoy me with their penetrating vocals. But this one is the pure madness. Darios vocals drift any listener immediately into the spell. Also after 25 years, the little jewel lost none of its luster. Very uplifting and incredibly danceable brings this song each house to shake. This absolutely timeless ultrarare monster Italo-Disco belongs in any well-stocked record collection. A true masterpiece.
Various - Haunted House Of Horror - 04-Jul-09 04:50 PM
This fine vinyl is a funny homage to old scary classics. My absolutely number one is "Escape From Horror House" which reminds me to the cartoon Scooby-Doo, Where are You? very often:o) Truly unique Tech-House with cool sounds. But also "If I Was A Psycho Killer..." and "The Curse Of Count Spackula" are simply pure fun. Fittingly, the record was released at Halloween. It is not really limited but you have to keep your eyes open if you want to grab a copy. It is worth it.

Michael Mantra - Sonic Continuum - 27-Jun-09 03:45 PM
Here, Rod and Michael produced one of the best ambient albums that I have ever heard. Incredibly meditative and full of beautiful sounds. Whether laughing people, airplanes, bells, the ocean, crickets, etc. All this sounds you can find here and they are hold together by an incredibly beautiful and specific space, where it is best to simply close your eyes. I personally prefer Vitamin M, because I find it most intensively. This CD helps me to bearable every new day a little more. Get it!
Thomas Köner - Daikan - 03-May-09 08:35 AM
I must say, that this is one of the best minimal sound collage CDs i own. The japanese title DAIKAN stands for "great cold". Pure machine music without a single ray of light. It begins with a phat, dark drone with a deep and long drum sound that Köner used like a gong. The combination of drum and gong takes a while to fade off and then on again. Very often. But its changing. Anytime, there is something new to discover. Good speakers are shaking with joy, and the neighbors stare anxiously into the sky, if there is an alien destroyer ship from Roland Emmerichs "Independence Day" that comes approach. Check it out.
DeepChord - dc14 - 15-Jan-09 01:49 AM
Woooow, DeepChords releases are really stunning! I first heard a DC record in a couple of mixes from some Users here on Discogs and i was absolutely excited. Such a huge deep and dubby sound. I love nearly all of them but this one is my favorite. Particularly the B-Side shines through its enormous depth and sophisticated chords which have a lot of reverb. This 12" is one of my best records in my collection. Lucky me i have two of this^^
