This is a true ambient track, when you play it you just hear all kids of minimal detroit beat progressions play in your head. But when you play the AA side at 45 RPM -8 and mix in a dj-tool breakbeat (or a 4x4 beat).. It becomes a real floorfiller!

The Minneapolis Genius consists of a couple of guys; and amongst them none other than "Prince" aka TAFKAP aka The Symbol, or whatever.
To my knowledge the first aknowledged recording of the man. (but could be wrong..)
At the time Prince was just a side musician hired by Pepé
Willie (Pepé was was married to Prince's cousin, Shauntel Manderville, at the time)
Great electro-disco-abstract recording!
