Two Fishes - The Opera
Nov 14, 2007
Fancy Fair - This in my opinion is one of the best Tech-Trancers ever made. The beats are as hard as nails, tough, driving and simple. Then it sweeps into the main hook, it boshes along almost tribal like as it incorporate's that brilliant shrieky 'siren'. The build up is fantastic, and so is the break when it comes. This is great to mix out of as well, as we hear a set of 8 sirens at the end. HUGE!
With all due respect to the Club Mix. I think the only reason this twelve would be bought is for the masterpiece that is the Grand Chillas Mix. Just perfect for an intro, as used as there opening gambits by Tiesto & Matt Hardwick's on there debut essential mixes. Just everyting fits perfectly. The faint tribal-ish drums, the cool sweeping sounds, the pianos and not forgetting the stunning vocals. If you can find a copy, grab it if you can!. | ||||
This track is a pure gem. So typical of Oakenfold of that period, digging out the quality white labels that nobody else had and sharing them with us.
I thought this track was going to be lost forever, and never to be identified.
But I was so glad when it was. Shortly after I managed to pick up a copy 'buy it now' off ebay for next to nothing.
