Two Fishes - The Opera Nov 14, 2007
As said, this was the famous ID in Oakenfold's Space Mix.
This track is a pure gem. So typical of Oakenfold of that period, digging out the quality white labels that nobody else had and sharing them with us.
I thought this track was going to be lost forever, and never to be identified.
But I was so glad when it was. Shortly after I managed to pick up a copy 'buy it now' off ebay for next to nothing.
Katana - Fancy Fair Nov 12, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Fancy Fair - This in my opinion is one of the best Tech-Trancers ever made. The beats are as hard as nails, tough, driving and simple. Then it sweeps into the main hook, it boshes along almost tribal like as it incorporate's that brilliant shrieky 'siren'. The build up is fantastic, and so is the break when it comes. This is great to mix out of as well, as we hear a set of 8 sirens at the end. HUGE!
Da Hool - Wankers On Duty Nov 12, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Great, simple but no nonsence track.
Rock solid beats, this track fizzes along to a brilliant spine tingling breakdown, with all sorts of sweaping sounds and whispered male vocals. A tad underrated. Great Title, and i love the vinyl sleeve!
John Askew - The Door / Shadows After Dark Nov 03, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
The Door is a brilliant slice of trance, with a solid kick.
But the real beauty comes in the form of a smooth breakdown with gorgeous faint vocals. Then after the break the solid kick returns. A great piece of contrasting trance. Askews best work by a mile.
Quintessential - A Day To Remember Oct 05, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
This is a little belter. It has been slightly overlooked.

It has a really euphoric feel to it, and the energy level of this track feels like its constantly rising and ready for take off! Cained by PvD in 98/99.
Hooligan* - Hear You Now Oct 02, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
With all due respect to the Club Mix. I think the only reason this twelve would be bought is for the masterpiece that is the Grand Chillas Mix. Just perfect for an intro, as used as there opening gambits by Tiesto & Matt Hardwick's on there debut essential mixes. Just everyting fits perfectly. The faint tribal-ish drums, the cool sweeping sounds, the pianos and not forgetting the stunning vocals. If you can find a copy, grab it if you can!.
Travel - Pray To Jeruzalem Sep 23, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
This is a fantastic tune. Head straight for the Incisions Mix. Really dark and driving trance, very underrated in my opinion.
Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end whenever i hear it or play it, because of the eerie and intense atmosphere the track creates. Superb.
