Brothers Grimm, The - Deja Vu - 07-Aug-06 12:48 PM
Classic oldskool "Bleeper" track from Acen, Dyce & crew, very much Unique 3 meets Rhythmatic meets LFO...Top quality tune that finally getting the respect it deserves...
Various - Enforcers: Above The Law - 08-Jul-06 03:45 AM
What can I say, The last great Reinforced compilation album! Full of top quality tunes from A-list producers covering the full breakbeat spectrum with diverse and experimental cuts...Every tune on this album oozes quality! By the end of 1996/97 Jungle/D just wasn't the same...
A.E.K. - The Xamounta Juice EP - 05-Jun-05 11:30 AM
Nice piece of hardcore/jungle from `92, Strong ragga influences here.also look out for the Bad Bwoy EP which is an absolute stormer & probably the best release on this label....
Various - Promised Land Volume 1 - 05-Jun-05 11:30 AM
Rare & underrated, this 1996 compilation is basically a selection of back catalogue tunes from the DeeJay & Lucky Spin labels, circa `94-`95. Top tunes from Orca, Adam F & Future Sound of Hardcore amongst others, most of these tunes were rinsed by Bukem & Fabio & are on the mellower more intelligent tip. Intelligent Drum & Bass at at a time when Jungle Still ruled the dancefloor...
Various - Rappin' Up The House - 30-Mar-05 12:12 PM
Nice collection of late 80's house & rap tracks, has a couple of fillers but not too many. Good value for money as it can be found on ebay/record fairs etc for £3-£5. Worth purchasing just for "Can You Feel It"Fingers Inc. with the haunting Chuck Roberts dialogue..."House Had A Groove...", "Ill House You" Jungle Brothers & "It Takes Two"Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, Which are becoming more rare (& expensive)on 12". A bit of nostalga for we oldies!!!
